Hosted Telephony

Extera’s hosted telephony is a complete communications service for an individual (or a single extension), or for an entire business (multiple extensions across single or multiple locations). Hosted provides an extensive range of fixed and mobile telephony capabilities, managed via an easy-to-use web portal. The only thing you need is a connection to the internet and subscription to our service to gain access to a fully featured telephone system.

Even with a single hosted extension from us you can handle multiple calls, place people on hold (with music!), call forward, pair up to your mobile etc. etc. just as you would expect from a VERY expensive and complex telephone system.

With only a minimal capital outlay required, a reliable and proven service and a jargon-free approach to telephony and communications, Hosted is suitable for any size business looking to improve its productivity and image.

What do I need?

Hosted requires an internet connection (such as a broadband line). Each call typically requires between 40kbps & 110kbps depending on the codec. We would always recommend taking an assured circuit from us to guarantee call quality, however, this is not mandatory (but we cannot guarantee call quality on any other connections outside our control). Your Internet Router may require configuration for the service to work correctly.
