Free Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) or Handset Lifter (HSL10)

What is an EHS?

An Electronic Hookswitch, or EHS, is a cable that connects the headset base station to the users desk phone. This cable enables a phone headset user to accept and end a call without the need to lift the handset, thereby eliminating the need for a mechanical device such as a handset lifter. This can improve efficiency by allowing the user to accept and end calls whilst away from their desk phone. Where an EHS cable is not compatible with your phone, you can use a HSL10 mechanical handset lifter which lifts the receiver slightly to answer the call remotely. Once you drop the call, the handset lifter lowers the receiver back into place.

How does this offer work?

EHS's and Handset Lifters are specific to certain brands and models of phones. This is indicated on the product page. If your phone is compatible with an EHS / Handset Lifter simply select your required electronic hookswitch cable or lifter via the 'Extras' area on the product page. Once selected, click Add To Basket. Your Free EHS cable or HSL10 will then be added to your basket along with the headset.
